1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using CostMog, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use CostMog.

2. About CostMog

CostMog helps users track shared expenses, split receipts, manage groups, record settlements, and send app-related notifications. CostMog is a coordination tool and does not provide banking, lending, credit, tax, accounting, legal, or debt collection services.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure. You may not use CostMog if you are prohibited from using the service under applicable law or if you are under 13 years old.

4. User Content and Shared Expenses

You are responsible for the expense details, receipt information, contact selections, group names, notes, and other content you add to CostMog. You agree not to submit false, unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

CostMog calculations are provided for convenience. You are responsible for reviewing expense amounts, receipt items, splits, and settlement records before relying on them.

5. Invites and Text Messages

CostMog may send transactional SMS messages related to shared expenses, receipt updates, group invitations, account activity, and app notifications. By providing your mobile number or using features that send invite or expense notifications, you consent to receive these messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of CostMog SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You can get help by replying HELP or contacting hello@steassoftware.com. CostMog messages are not marketing messages and are not used for third-party debt collection.

6. Payments and Settlements

CostMog may help users record amounts, balances, and settlements. Unless expressly stated in the app, CostMog does not move money, process payments, guarantee payment, or enforce repayment between users.

7. Subscriptions and Paid Features

Some CostMog features may require a paid subscription or purchase. Paid features, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms may be handled by the applicable app store or payment provider and are subject to their terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse CostMog, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or reverse engineer the service, send spam, harass others, or use CostMog for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or high-risk financial activity.

9. Third-Party Services

CostMog may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, messaging, analytics, app distribution, subscriptions, and other functionality. Those services may have their own terms and policies.

10. Service Changes and Availability

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of CostMog at any time. We do not guarantee that CostMog will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

11. Disclaimers

CostMog is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steas Software will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or disputes between users arising from use of CostMog.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to CostMog if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or used the service unlawfully. You may stop using CostMog at any time.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page or providing notice in the app.
